Work in progress using FACS
2008 (wave 10) update:
Fieldwork for wave 10 (2008) is completed and the accompanying report will be made available in Summer 2010. Wave 10 was the final wave of FACS but we will continue to use the data for some time to come.
Data deposit on the archive:
NatCen are currently improving the consistency of all the FACS datasets and these will be deposited in the ESRC data archive in Summer 2010.
Data Linking update:
DWP and DCSF are currently testing linking methodologies in order to add National Pupil Database records to FACS for those respondents that were agreeable. More information on this as well as how to access this data and the conditions for use will be communicated on this website and the UK Data Archive in Spring 2008.
